Job Description:
2.1. Identify, design and coordinate performance improvement initiatives
2.2. Serve as staff to the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Committee
2.3. Maintain the CPR database, create reports and analyze trends for the CPR committee
2.4. Act as the departmental liaison and provide consultative services to assigned Core departments
2.5. With the assistance of the Director of Performance Improvement, coordinate and facilitate team activities relative to Performance Improvement Initiatives.
2.6. Assist the Director of Performance Improvement in special projects as assigned
2.7. Assist with coordinating Staffing Effectiveness, indicator selection and implementation
2.8. Coordinate implementation of JCAHO Core Measures, CMS public reporting, including but not limited to data collection, analysis and communication of findings to appropriate departments and education of staff.
2.9. In conjunction with the Director of Performance Improvement oversee and monitor data and transmission of data and third parties and regulators
2.10. Work with ORYX vendor to assure process and maximize utilization of data.
2.11. Coordinate activities and oversee work prepared by Quality Research Analysts (data abstraction).
Job Qualifications:
BSN required, Master's preferred
3-5 year nursing experience
2-3 years related experience with knowledge of Quality Assessment & Improvement
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Proficiency in the use of Excel and familiarity with database programs
